My name is Audrey Crutcher, and it has been my pleasure to serve as the assistant principal at Riverton Intermediate. I am also looking forward to continuing to build on the relationships with students and families that I have been able to establish thus far. My goals are to maintain a safe, trusting, and caring environment for our students, staff, parents, and community members.
Prior to coming to Riverton Intermediate, I taught fifth grade for seven years at Madison Cross Roads and fifth grade for two years at Sparkman Middle. I also taught fourth grade for fourteen years at Harvest Elementary School. While teaching at Harvest Elementary School, I was nominated Teacher of the Year.
As the assistant principal, I am committed to listening, continuous learning, and supporting the staff and students in reaching their fullest potential. Quality instruction is at the core of everything that I believe about education.
My educational experience includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education from Alabama A&M University. I also have a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Certification in Administration from Alabama A&M University.
I am married to Marcus Crutcher, and we are very blessed that both of our sons have recently graduated from college with honors.
