The Drama and Improv Club will give 4th-6th grade students an opportunity to show off their talents in acting, movement, voicing, and art. Actors/actresses will learn how to project their voices, perform short scripts, learn basic movement for the stage, read with expression, and most importantly, to have fun together! Additional topics will include history of theater, use of a green screen, musical theater, auditioning tips/tricks, and many other skills. Members will work together as a team to prepare and present informal short plays and skits to be performed in front of a green screen to be viewed together as a class.
The Drama Club will be taught and managed by Mrs. Welte and Mrs. BeShears.
When scheduled to meet, the Club will meet after school afternoons from in the multi-purpose room.
It will be offered in three sessions to allow as many students the opportunity to participate:
